No audio when viewing video

Hi

I just purchased the WD TV live Hub. I set up the network to my PC . I have a 1TB external drive on the PC with numerous folders with video. I selected this folder with the WD Hub and it’s taken quite a bit of time sharing but has set up a couple of folders. I tried selecting the videos in one of the folders but even though the video plays, the sound doesn’t. The sound icon in the upper right indicates that there is no sound. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix this. BTW, the hub is connected by HDMI to a Yamaha surround sound processor.

Sounds like your hub is “Muted.”

Hit the MUTE button on the remote.

And make sure you have it set for “digital passthrough” in the audio setup since you are using an external amplifier.
