No access to admin interface

This is the first time I have something to do with a western digital NAS.
I am doing this for a friend.
We are trying to setup webdav, but we can’t access the admin interface.
If I go to http://ipaddressofnas I am redirected to something like
https://device-local-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.remotewd.com:8543/static/login
is it supposed to work like that?
I can log in with a local NAS user then, but the only page I see is this one:

There is nothing you can do here.
Shouldn’t there be a admin user interface?

Unable to access Dashboard on My Cloud Home

I am unable to access the Dashboard on My Cloud Home. During the setup the device could not be located so I skipped that step (after multiple attempts) and proceeded to create on online user account. I looked online and found that with the My Cloud product (different to My Cloud Home) you can access your device through http://wdmycloud.local. This is not working for My Cloud Home. Is there a similar approach that can be taken with My Cloud Home? With thanks

You do appear to have a My Cloud Home (MCH) because you could access the MCH dashboard.

However, you should really search the MCH subforum and the knowledgebase before you start looking for features that are NOT there, for example Webdav, because it is NOT supported.

You should also be aware that almost all of the WD My Cloud series are near their End of Life service and will almost certainly be deprecated and become unsupported in a few years, in 2026 or 2027 such that any features request are unlikely ever to be met.
