No access rights

All of a sudden, out of nowhere, not one of my macs can access the NAS. It will not back up. It gives me a cryptic red exclamation point and the words “no access rights” I haven’t changed a thing, not ONE setting. The only thing I have done is shut down my machine. I’m not an expert, but I do know that shutting down a computer does not change the access rights. This NAS is obviously useless if it will not back up after a shutdown and restart of my own computer. Any ideas? All I want to do is back up three computers to one central network location. It seems WD is not the answer.

Since there’s been no replies, maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
