Hello my configuration is:
Samsung UE40D6500
WD TV Live Streaming
Philips HTS5591 (5.1 Surround)
The Philips is connected to the HDMI ARC port on the TV, the WDTV is on another free hdmi port.
I tested several preferences I can’t get 5.1 sound over hdmi. If I press autodetect it says PCM 2 channel.
If I manually change it to 6 channels nothings happens, when I tick other options I hear no Sound.
If I play the file directly on my tv, 5.1 works.
In the Soundsettings of my TV at SPDIF-Output I could only choose PCM.
