New WD My Cloud giving problems

I just purchased a 4TB My Cloud and after going through the setup process and installing WD Sync, I get an error “This connection is closed due to trust issues, SSL/TLS issues”.

I also downloaded WD Access but the software does not open up/

Can anyone suggest how to fix this problem ? I am using Windows 8.1.

Make sure that you don’t have a firewall blocking the connection.
