New users can't acces share

I have a sharespace 4TB with the user"admin" and a share called “data”.

Now I want to create a guest account that is read only, but whenever I crate a new user and whatever privileges I give it, it simply can’t acces “data”. Only the admin can acces that share.

Whenever I try I get this message “the operation can’t be completed because the original item for “data” can’t be found.”

I have tried two different computers. both macs.

any ideas?

What are the permissions for both the share and the user? If both are not set right you may not be able to access it. Also did you try rebooting the device, than each PC connected to it to see if this resolves your issue?
