I just recently bought a passport and i really *4 do not wanna back up everything i have on my laptop so i just wanted to know if there was in fact a way to drag & drop to a folder or not. Please reply fast!!

Yup, you can use the passport just like any external USB memory to drag and drop or copy and paste.
