We have recently purchased a WD media player…
plugged it all in, it accesses the net…
I want to run it from the computer to access the files on my external HDD’s but I have no idea how to do it…
I’ve tried google, YouTube …
I’m at a loss
I have a wireless TP Link modem with inbuilt router…
I will be purchasing another media player in the not too distant future to run in a different room…but not until I can get this first one running from the pc…
at the moment I have the external HDD plugged directly in to the media player & it’s working fine…
specs -
Windows 10…
& have a flat screen 50" plasma (not a smart TV though)
can anyone help?..I’d really love to be able to plug my external HDD’s back into my pc
