WD is happy to announce the release of the WD SmartWare Version 2.4.10.17 update for the Personal Cloud Storage and Network Attached Storage products.
IMPORTANT:
For My Book Live users, it is recommened that you update your drive to the latest available firmware to ensure optimum compatibility with this version of the WD Smartware. If you run this version of WD Smartware with a My Book Live on firmware version 01.05.07 or earlier you may encounter issues where you may not have access to files that you have backed up.
