Are you referring to the USB that came with the drive? That is not actually a USB stick. It is a “jumpstart” program that is supposed to open a browser and redirect you to the WD website to download the software.

daam :confused: this FW just “killed” my drive.
well not actualy killed the drive, but nerfed the read/write speed with like 20 mb/sec at ssd part .

I created the DOS boot disk but when I run the WD tool it says no disk found?
