Just bought one, any tips or suggestions for basic setup and operation ?
It will be primary used for file playback from a Win 7 computer in another room to a Sony wide screen.
I’d like to try a USB keyboard. Wireless?
How about the firmare ? No doubt it will come with the newest…keep or revert to an older one ?
Well the best thing when we all purchase a new product it to always keep software and firmware up to date.
We dont want to fall behind and miss out on the action.

Wired keyboard is good but make sure you wireless is compatible.
Also you said you were using this as a back up drive?
Hopefully it would be for your movies, music and photos. I am not sure if you were to save programs or documents if they would be recoverable. Just something to keep in mind. …Danger ZZone…
