New to My Cloud Mirror - it is setup - (the port forwarding did not pass but I do not think this will impact backups). How do I back up my MAC computer to the Mirror? It states to setup a job but it is not straightforward and it looks as though it will backup to my time machine instead of Mirror. I just want to do a basic backup of my computer.
I personally would actually recommend using Time Machine to create the backup to the Mirror.

Thank you, worked fine. I looked at my backups and most went to “other” but ZERO music? Would my iTunes music not be backed up because it is backup in iTunes?
I can’t think of a reason why it wouldn’t outside of specifying that you didn’t want it to… could be a bug or an issue with time machine that i’m not aware of. You might want to post on the Apple Discussion boards to see if someone who is an expert on Time Machine might know something I don’t.
