Pretty dull firmware i reckon - no new features what so ever, although many users have submitted great - and simple - ideas to enhance the GUI…
I dont know much about hte history of WD’s products, but should we expect added features and enhancements in future firmware - or will it just be of the “resolved issue”-kind?
They added a few things this time - filtering the 30-day list in the dashboard, auto frame-rate in hdmi, and a few other things. But I wish they would fix known bugs first and foremost. I think the bug where the media catalog occasionally loses track of previously cataloged stuff and must be kick-started to rebuild the full list is still in there. The bug where media files starting with the same characters as the folder name not being cataloged is still in there.
