New firmware killed my box

I downloaded and installed the new firmware Feb 1 and have had no signal to my TV since. It was working perfectly prior to the upgrade. I have tried reset several times, removed the .wd_tv folder from the two drives I use, and still no signal to my TV. Now what?

I assume that you are using an HDMI output and that you have the Live Streaming Player with 1.13.18 firmware.

You could try the AV output and see if you can manually set up HDMI.

You could rollback the firmware back if you can see the video by using the AV output.

This is what I am going to try next. Will advise result.

I had this come up for me yesterday. Yanked the power cable and left it for a minute and it came back.

Please see my post above where it gives the link to the rollback firmware.

HI Guys, Rolling back the firmware from the official EXE did not put my WD LIVE back into the same state it was before the most recent update, something from the new firmware is still lingering in the WD SMP box.
