Please help. I am a new elements user. I just want to set up a way to backup my files, prefer to drag and drop. Do I have to form at or is it pre-formatted. I thought it was plug and play. I can’t find a user manual anywhere.
I just purchased a 2TB WD Elements today about an hour ago
Plugged it into my Windows 7 PC … it was already formatted NTFS … but, i reformatted it to exFAT because i need to use the drive with my PlayStation 4 games console as well.
Am now backing up my files using the “drag and drop” method
If you are using it on a Windows PC only, then no user manual required …
just plug it in and you’re ready to go
