New Device setup

This is probably going to seem very basic but i have just set up my device (3tb) and i am trying to tranfer some data to it (20gb) but it is telling me there isnt enough storage space on my device…is there a setting somewhere that i am missing?

Have you crreated users and shares? How are you copying and to where?
