After updating to the new firmware manually, today I experienced something very unusual. I was working with Windows deleting and moving files via SMB…everything seemed fine, but today I noticed that files I deleted from the NAS, their “thumbnails” still exist when I access those pictures remotely and via WDMyCloud OS5 mobile app. I cannot delete those “thumbnails” because the don’t exist according to the NAS. If I try to delete them the reply is “an error occurred while deleting”.
If you deleted the files/pictures, why are you opening them with the app? Have you rebooted your device to see if the pictures/thumbnails have been removed?
Have you rebuilt/scanned Twonky to see if that helps?
