Ok, so i just got a new 1TB external hard drive and well ive already format it to my mac computer. So thats done. Now what im doing is adding files to the drive and well on the process of that the drive just ejects it self. But now what im doing is erasing files on the Drive. thru disk utility. But when erasing it. It doesnt turn of at all.
Erasing the drive should not turn off the drive. It should erase all content only.
Have you try partitioning / formatting the drive?
