Network sync

Just upgraded from my Live player to the Hub, especially to get the built-in hard drive and network sync.

I set it up last night…at least I thought I did.   I put the sync to the drive on my laptop that holds all our videos.

When I looked at it today there was some syncing done, but in the neighbourhood of 25-30 copies of each movie until the drive filled up.

Not sure how that happened and can’t figure out what to do about it.

Anyone else had this issue?

Well that was interesting.

I used the reset button for a second time, and now it’s all there properly.

Crisis averted!

This is actually pretty common. The overhead of copying is high and the processing power of the hub is low. I think it just doesn’t rescan the folder and display the correct content after a sync until a restart/reboot is done.
