Hi everyone!
Im not really super with computers, so I was wondering if I could find my answer here.
When I go to find my My Cloud on my network, it tells me file sharing is off, and that I must turn it on. If I were to turn it on, does that open my laptop to incursion by another person operating on the network? naturally, I want to use MyCloud to it’s fullest extent, but I don’t wish to have my privacy invaded due to bumbling the settings on my part.

You probably want to look through the User Manual, but if you have your My Cloud Shares set to Private and do not give anyone permission to view or open and make changes then they will not be able to see your files. You make these settings in the Dashboard.
