Network device name dropping to lowercase automatically - causing access issues

Hi,

It appears since the last firmware update, the issue described has developed.

My Time Machine backups stopped and I couldn’t work out why, until I tried to reselect the MBLD in the TM prefs.  It wasn’t in the list.

In Finder, under Network, the entry reads ‘mybookliveduo’ instead of ‘MyBookLiveDuo’.

I’ve also just installed a new Netgear D6200 Modem Router but I don’t think that’s part of the issue.

Please advise.

Not sure if it had something to do with the router change.

Are you still having issues?

Make sure to map the network drive.

I installed a fresh copy of ML which appears so far, to have cured the issue.
