Netgear wg111 v2 not working with the WD tv live hub. 

Netgear WG111v2 is one of the most popular USB wireless dongle in Delhi Region. Capturing almost 35 % market share of USB dongle sales annually in Delhi NCR region. 

Support for this dongle is needed badly. 

Can some one from WD comment on any futuristic plans to support this model of USB wireless dongle ?

Horse-hocky.  Do you have a source for this rather dubious information?

I have tried WG111 v3 with the same result. It doesn’t work. I don’t know if WG’s have 35% of the market but here in Greece are also very common. I’d like to see it in the list. I had the same luck with a LinkSys WUSB54GC (very common adaptor also) as well as with a brand new TPlink TL-WN821NC ver.3.0. The last one is listed in the WD compatibillity list but as ver2.2. It seems that finding a compatible WiFI adapter for LiveTv isn’t a simple task …
