I’m in the UK on BE and i see Super HD titles in Netflix on the WDTV now. No idea what it’s playing in (hitting Options during playback doesn’t do anything), looks the same as HD to me which was already quite good.
Netflix is not available in my country … but i was curious as to what “Super HD” meant.
It’s what Netflix calls … “Full HD” or 1080p (nothing really ‘Super’ about it honestly )
On screen sizes of 42 Inch Tv’s or less … then no … you’re not gonna see any dramatic difference in picture quality.
TV’s “Bigger” than 42 Inch … Yes, you will see a difference in picture quality.
REAL Super HD is 4K TV’s (3840 × 2160) 2160p
Ultra HD 8K TV’s (7680 × 4320) 4320p
Of course, you would need to take out a second mortgage to afford one of these
