Having an issue where turning unit on, then going to netflix and getting no audio output (using HDMI). I have to go to the media library and play any file, then go back to Netflix to get the audio to come on.
Anyone else? I’ve been using the WDTV Live and WDTV SMP for years and they’re really getting more and more frustrating to use…
Try updating to the latest firmware version (1.11.14), you can also press the reset button on the bottom side for 1 second.
So far, with the latest 1.11 firmware, I’ve noticed no audio issues using HDMI. DD or DD+.
it’s ok here too using hdmi
