Netflix 5.1?

Does the wdtv live plus not support streaming netflix 5.1 audio? I’m set up with an optical cable connected to my receiver and I’m not getting 5.1.

EDIT: Nevermind.  Found another thread and I see the couple of things I had tried were not in 5.1.

Tried something that was in 5.1 and I do get 5.1.

Indeed, 5.1 audio will only be provided on the Netflix app if the content itself supports 5.1 audio streams.
