So somehow Windows 7 had me backup my registry keys and I can’t do a system restore because there are no restore points set. Wouldn’t they be on my last backup?
It depends how the backup was made. WD SmartWare does not back-up the registry, but Windows Backup does since it’s a system image. However, as a system image, the entire backup would need to be restored in order to extract the registry files.
