I’m using a WDTV Live with the latest firmware 1.06.15_V. This new firmware seems to have introduced a bug, at least on my unit.
I can only play 1 single movie at a time. If I stop it and try to watch a second one, the blue wheel spins forever and the second movie never starts. Basically I watch a movie and need to turn off and on the unit in order to watch another one.
This never happened before with previous firmwares. I have also tried reflashing the unit with no success. This happens with movies under network shares, media servers and not only that it also happens with radio stations. I can only have one single go and then I’m forced to reboot.
I have heard of 3 other people with the same problem. One of them was only able to fix it by downgrading all the way to 1.02
Any suggestions? Is this a known bug? Any firmware updates in the pipeline?
