Need to make static ip for switch connected nas

My Cloud OS 3 Personal & Network Attached Storage My Cloud EX2

I have my cloud ex 2 ultra and my problem is that we have client server network architecture in 172.16.4.x range , i want to connect my cloud to system thru switch to be accessable to all computers

But when i try to assign static ip online it stucks at updating & when i try to enter again i find it back to dhcp

Is it possible to connect my cloud directly to switch not routet !?
How to assign static 172.16.4.x ip range to it !?
