Need Help! Unplugged one of the 6 HDDs inside my G-Speed Shuttle XL and my RAID 0 configuration is destroyed. Basically all drives are blinking read and are seen as offline when I open the software utility. I want to save the data on the drives. What can I do please?

Since it is RAID0 there is very little chance to save the data. RAID0 has no protection, if a drive is pulled it destroys the RAID.

If you have not tried to do anything to the unit since unplugging it there might be a chance to force the now “dead” drive back online.

Try this:

Open Terminal

Type in gspeed2util and press return to launch CLI utility.

Type the command: phydrv -a online -p x and press return.
Where x is the physical drive ID i.e Slot 1-4 or 1-8

The light should go blue on the drive slot and if no full damage was done to the RAID then the drive should mount and be usable.
