I had the MPWP connected to power supply and serving via WiFi connection. Tried to copy a fairly large directory of my music files from my MacbookPro to the drive and the connection just drops in the middle of the transfer. This is the second time I’ve tried this. It will be useless has a NAS server if it can’t maintain the connections. I’ll have to try plugging into USB port to copy the files but I didn’t need to purchase this device to have it just operate as a USB drive. Makes me wonder if the music server will even work properly.
Also having problems getting the phone App to save my pictures, but that will be a topic for another time.
Very disappointed so far! So much potential with this product.
