Nas not connecting to internet

Hi, my myclould has has decided it doesn’t want to connect to the internet. If I unplug the patch cord from it, and plug it into a laptop, I have internet access, but the has shows as disconnected on it it’s remote page of the gui interface. Is this because of the imminent upgrade to os 5, if so , where do I download it from

What is your current version of firmware? Is it 04.xx.xx or 02.xx.xx?

Have upgraded the firmware, no change… the os5 changes don’t come in until Feb 2022, but even so, if I plug a patch cord directly into it, and fix ip address, it still can’t be seen by windows

Cant remember what it was, but the latest available was, and is installed…. 2.41.121

OK, so you successfully updated to v2.41.121. You shouldn’t need to do this but you can try downgrading to v2.41.116 and then upgrading to OS5. Do a 40 second reset first and between each firmware installation.

Will certainly try this, where do I obtain OS 5 from… It doesn’t seem apparent if you know what I mean?
