NAS Missing In DNS

I’ve added my WD ShareSpace 4TB NAS to my domain, which shows in Active Directory, but does not show in DNS; forward or reverse.  I have the correct IP address set up for the DNS server, but that didn’t help.

Also, when I look at the device in AD, the DNS name entry has localhost.localdomain unlike the rest of the machines listed in AD.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried contacting WD’s Technical Support? I would consider giving them a call about this.
