NAS hard disk

As people might be aware WD have launched WD Gold which they claim is enterprise hard disk. However in the warranty page it is listed as a Desktop drive. Warranty Policy | WD Support which makes me believe Gold=Blue Pro.
They also claim swanky specs like TLER and Vibration protection which are obviously a plus point for a multi disk NAS.
Now their Red/Pro are marketed as NAS drives and I know for a fact that reds are good.

AS for pricing Red<Gold<Red Pro (typically 8tb/10tb) and ure is best for the gold. Now for a 8 bay NAS (DIY) running in a Fractal R5 which would be a personal preference for each.
PS
*I do like to sit on extra warranty especially when the cost difference isn’t too much.
*Looking for a home setup where weather gets hot and ac is not running 24x7.
*The server will run for maximum number of hours each day for years and years to come (I hope).
*Difference in heating between a 5400 and a 7200 rpm disk.

Request feedback on each of the choices above. Preferred size of each disk is >=8tb; Disks in array = 8 (fixed)
