N900 Central Broadcasting in b/g/n mode even when just in g/n mode

I’ve been running some diagnostic chceks and channel tuning on my N900 Central and found something odd.  When I select b/g mode on the 2.4 GHZ spectrum it still contiues to broadcast as b/g/n.  I’ve tried rebooting, changing to other settings and back and it still continues to do this.  

I’ve verifed this across multiple devices and monitoring tools, any ideas on if this is a known bug or if there is a fix for this?

Might be a bug, did you tried downloading the latest firmware?
