MyNet N900 for Internet and not Intranet?

Hi.

Can be possible to use this router with internal hard drive as a ftp server for connections from outside my home network?

The router is in home but I’d like to connect from my office using internet and download or upload documents and files (not only pictures, music and videos)

I don’t know if we are reading the same manual ( http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/library/UM/ENG/4779-705074.pdf) but can’t find on page 25 information regarding FTP for internet and not intranet.

Once you check the FTP box then that’s it. After that you need to know basic FTP, port-forwarding and and DDNS service to track the public IP.
