MyCloudMirror Gen 2 - accessing 'newest file' remotely

Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help please?

I’ve been working on file on my desktop and I’ve uploaded (copied) it to my WDMyCloudMirror Gen 2 device so that I can access the file remotely. I have the My Cloud 0S5 app on my iPhone and can access the file from my phone. I have since added more to the particular file on my desktop since copying it to the device, and I assumed that when i saved the file on my desktop it would automatically update on the WD device, hence I could remotely access the latest version of my file. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case and now I have a ‘older’ version on my phone even though the app has updated my files today.
Does anyone know how to configure my device so that I am able to access the ‘newest’ version remotely.

Many thanks

@ MikeTwisse

Have you tried drag and drop for the file to your My Cloud or copy and paste.

I updated our movie list this morning and used drag and drop to move it over to my My Cloud 2nd generation, single bay. See example image below. Click on, tap, or activate image to enlarge it.
