You have posted in the wrong sub-forum. What OS do you have?
There is a specific subforum for My Cloud Ultra EX2 Ultra units where users more famiilar may be able to assist or where you can search, using the forum search feature (magnifying glass icon upper right) for past discussions on sleep issues.

On the single bay My Cloud (the general subject of this subforum) there are a number of methods to try and deal with the device’s failure to sleep. They include turning off various services (Twonky DLNA, Remote Access, iTunes, etc.). And using SSH to turn disable certain firmware modules. One can use the forum search feature (http://community.wd.com/search?q=sleep%20category%3A105) to search this subforum for the many past discussions on how to deal with the sleep issue on a single bay/single drive My Cloud.
