Bit of a dual issue… I had a MyBook fail and when removed from the case, and plugged it into a docking station it turns out it’s WD encrypted (not by me) so I can’t access the data. Is there a WD app I can use to access the drive if I plug the docking station into the MyCloud and copy the data to it?
Running Win10 btw (have seen a few linux solutions but not sure about them, was hoping for something easier).
It really ■■■■■ btw that when their hardware fails, they make it so hard for you to get the data off of a device that you paid for.
