I noticed that my device (MyCloud EX2 Ultra) makes 3 calls every minute to staging.mycloud.com - is there any way tobdisable this? I have opted out of any analytics so I am not sure what it is doing. I also have auto update set to daily, ntp disabled and https redirect disabled. It shouldn’t be phoning home at all. Is there any way I can disable this behavior?

It’s still doing it every 5/mins it’s crazy. It’s the number 1 network request inmy home network. Im blocking it but it shouldnt be spamming my network at all.
It looks like it is keeping things connected with the MyCloud service. If you want to keep if from doing that disable the web access to the NAS.
Everything isbdisabled. No web access. Ive even disabled ntp just in case it uses staging.mycloud (though i doubt it), and the https redirect, but it still pings home
