MyCloud slows down my computers

Hey everybody,
I got myself the MyCloud Duo a few months ago, and to my disappointment, both my macs are severely slower when I have the WD Discovery app open.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? And is there a solution?

This is very annoying.

It’s really too bad western digital does not care to correct the systemic slow transfer speeds of their devices. They throw the issue back on the customer. They have your money, they really don’t care. They only offer excuses and solutions that just don’t work.
