Hello All,
Today I was really looking at the details of my WD PR4100 and noticed that it does have a valid HTTPS certificate (for the admin. area) as long as I hit it from a certain domain. I also noticed that this valid certificate will expire on December 31, 2020.
Does Western Digital usually update this certificate via a Firmware upgrade when the certificate gets close to expiring? I don’t want to be stuck with an invalid certificate in January of 2021.
I haven’t paid much attention to this certificate in the past so I am unsure if it ever gets updated.
Any information that the Western Digital team can provide would be greatly appreciated.
