I have just bought a 16TB Mycloud Home Duo.
I also hv a 5 yr old WD Media player and a 1 yr old WD Mycloud Home drive (8TB).

** I have disabled the auto backup so I hv full 16TB available.
** I hv connected the Duo drive to my TP Link mesh wifi just as as I did with my 1 yr old drive

  1. The Duo drive shows up on my laptop so it is connected to my wifi and I can add, delete, etc files wirelessly. BUT it doesn’t not connect/show up on my player. My 1 yr old My Cloud Home drive is connected in exactly the same way and works fine.

  2. When I connnect the Duo with a 3.0 USB to the player nothing shows up

  3. When I attach a thumb drive into the rear USB port it also doesn’t show up

Any help or advice?
