MyCloud Home dead on Mac mini M1/Monterey 12.3

Windows/Web access for WD MyCloud Home is functional, so I know the device is live on the internet. Older Intel Core i7 MPB running Monterey 12.2 is also able to access, so this seems to be an issue with the M1 ARM chipset. I have done all the things, like lowering the security gates for the security extension, which I’ve confirmed is running. Deleted/reinstalled the app numerous times, rebooted many… many… times. I can see the device in the Finder, but can’t connect. Very frustrating!

Build number: 21E230

So how many versions of Monterey has Apple released in the last 5 months and how many hundreds of builds?

Perhaps it is not ready for prime time?

Have you looked at this and what the system requirements are along with other information.

You can always check the online status of the My Cloud Home. At this time, it showed that it is up and running.

Yes I’ve read the manual, and followed all the instructions. The device is up and running - can see it on other devices, including windows and Intel macOS. This is clearly an issue with M1.

Did you read this one: My Cloud Home: Install WD Discovery for My Cloud Home for Apple M1 ARM Processor

It needs reduced security mode to run.

Yes, as I said in my original post, I did this.
