I have used the mypassport for years, and it worked great. Recently, I took advantage of WD’s offer of trading it in, and buying the my Cloud Home. Quicken worked great with the old device, and I could use the device as central storage to share files.
My cloud home requires wd discovery to even access files. I see that I can run quicken from one computer (stored on my cloud home). But running quicken from my laptop is abysmally slow. If I copy the file to a local drive it comes right up, but over the network, it takes hours.
Any ideas??

My Cloud Home (MCH) is not a replacement for USB backup such as mypassport. If it was working before, why switch? Return the MCH if you still can and just get what works.
