MyCloud EX2 Ultra - Time Machine with RAID Volume Encryption?

Hello,

Curious if anyone knows the answer: If I have complete drive/volume encryption on the MyCloud EX2, which must be unlocked with a password from the Web-based management to mount the drives inside the unit (eg. after shutdown/reboot/dismount), does this encryption also carry over to the Time Machine Backup folder, or is that folder in another Container/Partition visible to the network prior to mounting the encrypted drives via the MyCloud Web Managment?

In other words: If my Time Machine backups are encrypted by MacOS during the backup process to the MyCloud over the network, are they then essentially “double encrypted” because of the volume encryption as well?

Thanks!
