Mycloud ex2 ultra has 2 bad drives

I have 2 bad drives in mycloud ex2 ultra device. Should I replace both drives or should I replace the whole device itself?

SO - - - you basically are starting from scratch?

What killed the drives?
How old were the drives? If more than 3-4 years old; and first one failed. . .then sometime later a second drive failed. . . .meh. . .buy new drives.

If your house got struck by lightning and it fried the drives. . . the box may well be fried as well. You may get lucky with new drives. . . .but I would put a new box in the “cart” at “***zon”
