First time use here, I hope this is the correct forum.
I have a Mycloud EX2 Ultra on my home network. It is connected to a switch as are all my PCs and my Cable Modem. Everything has been working fine for years.
Last night I experienced a momentary power outage during a thunderstorm. This morning, I cannot connect to the Mycloud.
If I try to open one of the drive mappings on the Mycloud I get the error:
“An error occurred while reconnecting to \MYCLOUDEX2ULTRA\directory\subdirectory. Microsoft Windows Network: The local device name is already in use. This connection has not be restored.”
I tried going to http://mycloudex2ultra in my web browser (Tried with Chrome, Firefox, and Edge) and I get:
"This site can’t be reached
Check if there is a typo in mycloudex2ultra.
If spelling is correct, try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN"
The lights on the switch shows that the Mycloud is connected.
My PC is running Windows 10 Pro, Version 22HP, Build 19045.4780
I am set up for DHCP.
I have tried powering off the mycloud and powering it back on, same problem.
I have tried the 4-second reset, same problem. I have not tried the 40-second reset because I am worried about data loss.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
