MyCloud disconnects after few minutes

Hello there –

I’m having issues with WDMyCloud storage. The storage seems to be working fine and after a few minutes it disappears from computer / can’t access files. The screen that appears is this: image

I have Windows 11 and it had been working fine with no issues whatsoever. This issue will not let me transfer files (very long ones) or read from the storage for more than ~ 5 minutes.

Very frustrating. Any help will be greatly appreciated.


I take it this just started happening after upgrading to Windows 11?

That’s correct. However, I’ve been using Windows 11 for (over a month?) quite sometime and it was working without issues.

I’ve set the IP to static, turned off the sleep mode w/o solving the issue.
