Mycloud Copy failed: A device attached to the system is not functioning

I am having trouble using SyncBackSE V8 to sync my Windows 8,1 64 bit machine. I keep getting the following error “mycloud Copy failed: A device attached to the system is not functioning”. SyncBack does not seem to have any trouble reading the files but most of the time cannot write them to the Windows 8.1 machine.
