MyCloud-can no longer access my backups

I have what I think is an original MyCloud product, purchased in March 2014. When I tried to access a file earlier today, the file in question was 6 days old, even though I have updated it for the past 4 days.

Meanwhile, since this morning, it now will not show me the smartware folder under network.

I am running windows 10.

Can anybody advise?
